Alex Chang - Pharmacist / Owner, Travel Medicine Consultant
Alex graduated from the University of Toronto with his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Alex has over 10 years of experience in the retail pharmacy industry. He has over 9 years of managerial experience working in retail pharmacy. His main area of interests and focus are diabetes and travel medicine.
Obtaining his Certificate in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM) in 2016, you can count on reliable and up-to-date travel medicine advice. Alex also holds his Opioid Dependence Treatment Certificate assisting patients receiving methadone and buprenorphine treatment.
Alex continues to develop and implement new programs and care initiatives to improve all health outcomes for his patients. Alex has excellent relationships with physicians in the Brighton area allowing seamless facilitation of drug therapy regimen changes for his patients.
Phil Reed - Pharmacist / Owner
Phil graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Phil has been in the retail pharmacy industry for over 35 years. He brings management experience working in hospital pharmacy, corporate community pharmacy, and tremendous experience as an owner in independent community pharmacy.
Phil's extensive experience in an addiction treatment management alongside pharmacy ownership gives valuable insight on providing "patient-centered" care. Phil makes sure that workflow in the pharmacy is optimized so we can spend more time addressing our patient's needs and concerns.
Kristen Conte - Consultant Pharmacist
Kristen graduated from the University of Toronto with a Doctor in Pharmacy. Kristen is our expanded scope champion, as she works with our patients to resolve any drug therapy questions or concerns they may have. Kristen is available to patients on an appointment or walk in basis for consultations. Her experience as a consultant pharmacist allows her to quickly and efficiently resolve medication related problems. She also has an interest in diabetes and is working towards obtaining her Certified Diabetes Educator designation.
Sera graduated from the University of Toronto with her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. Throughout her undergraduate and pharmacy studies, she led several pharmacy groups such as the McMaster Pre-Pharmacy Society and the Student Advisory Council of the Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA), which she founded while serving as a board member of OPA.
Sera is passionate about driving advancement in pharmacy practice and is an avid advocate for augmented scope of pharmacists and technology incorporation to improve patient outcomes in delivering pharmaceutical care. Her areas of interest in clinical practice include substance abuse treatments, harm reduction strategies, and pain management.
